Vets Win BEVA CPD Vouchers In Dechra Prize Draw
Two vets have won £200 of BEVA CPD vouchers in a prize draw competition on Dechra’s stand at BEVA (British Equine Veterinary Association) Congress, which took place from Wednesday 11 to Saturday 14 September in Liverpool.
Harriet Gardner from Island Equine Veterinary Services in St Martin, Jersey and Lorna Buckley from North West Equine Vets in Rathmell, North Yorkshire won the vouchers by answering five questions on the extensive benefits of Strangvac and Pergocoat, with the answers hidden in and behind ‘did you know’ interactive elements on the stand.
Dechra also hosted a series of popular ‘meet the expert’ sessions on its stand which saw industry experts from around the UK discussing strangles and PPID (pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction), otherwise known as Equine Cushing’s disease with delegates. The experts included Professor Gayle Hallowell and Professor Mark Bowen, Andrew Waller, chief scientific officer at Intervacc AB, and independent equine medicine and therapeutics consultant, Dave Rendle.
“BEVA Congress was a fantastic opportunity for the Dechra team to highlight the key benefits of our growing equine portfolio which includes Strangvac and Pergocoat to equine vets and we would like to congratulate Harriet and Lorna for winning the BEVA CPD vouchers which will enable them to access some of the best continuing education in the equine veterinary field.”
