VetSkill To Open The Gateway For The VN End Point Assessment On The 1st September

Ready! Steady! Go through the Gateway! VetSkill Announces VN Apprenticeship is Ready!
Veterinary nurse apprentices and their employers will be very pleased to hear that VetSkill has launched their End Point Assessment service for the Apprenticeship Standard in Veterinary Nursing ST0343.

The End Point Assessment (EPA) for the Veterinary Nursing Standard consists of a 45-minute Professional Discussion followed by a 12 station Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). VetSkill’s online End Point Assessment Booking System (EPABS) allows apprentices to book their assessment and OSCE places in real time.
Many training providers have already entered agreements with VetSkill in anticipation of the gateway opening and are busily preparing their students for the first element which is the professional discussion the first of which is scheduled to start four weeks later.
Once the professional discussion has been passed the apprentice will be able to book their OSCE exam. VetSkill has scheduled OSCE events in October and November this year. During 2021 the frequency will increase to every other month with the capacity to offer OSCE’s monthly if demand requires it.
Based in Godmanchester, near Cambridge, VetSkill is an awarding organisation offering a range of qualifications regulated by Ofqual and CCEA to a variety of centres across the UK. It is also approved to operate a register for Suitably Qualified Person’s (SQP) and is an approved End Point Assessment Organisation for Apprenticeships.
