Following the launch of Pronefra® to aid in the management of cats and dogs with CKD, Virbac has launched a free app, entitled ‘Pronefra’, to aid in the correct interpretation of patients' results in line with the latest IRIS Guidelines.
Simon Boulton MRCVS, Marketing Manager for Companion Animals, explains: "Reference ranges supplied by machines and labs are not always appropriate for the renal patient so we wanted to help practices to interpret kidney-specific results quickly and easily in line with the latest recommendations. The Pronefra app was the result. We have received very positive feedback on the app so far and hope it will help practices improve the quality and length of life of their renal patients."
The app is available for download on both the Play store and Apple store.
Pronefra's unique 4-in-1 action helps to manage a range of factors which are known to decrease quality and/or length of life of patients suffering with CKD, including phosphate restriction.
Additional practice support materials provided by Virbac include a pet health recording book for clients to aid in compliance and other educational tools for vets, nurses and clients.More from
