William Minchin New MSD Animal Health Marketing Manager

William Minchin has joined MSD Animal Health as marketing manager for ruminant medicines in Northern Ireland and the RoI where MSD is the largest supplier of animal medicines.
From an intensive beef farm in Co Carlow, William graduated from University College Dublin in 2005 with a degree in agricultural science. After completing a PhD in animal science at Teagasc Moorepark in 2008 he then spent two years as a research scientist at the Grange, working on beef production systems.
In his new role William will be involved in the development of communications campaigns on the prevention and control of diseases in cattle and sheep. Dr Minchin joins MSD Animal Health from Zoetis where he was livestock product manager.
