Zoetis Launches Stronghold Plus In UK

Walton Oaks, UK, July 4, 2017 Zoetis has launched Stronghold® Plus (selamectin/sarolaner) to UK veterinary practices this summer complete with a practice support programme which includes a series of ‘Good Medicine Good Business’ events for practices to attend aimed at growing practices preventative health business.
Stronghold® Plus, is a topical combination of parasiticides that protects against fleas, Gl worms, heartworm, ear mites and lice1. The combined action of selamectin and sarolaner broadens the spectrum and extends the duration of protection1 so that the product kills fleas and ticks* within 24 hours for five weeks, with no drop in efficacy at the end of the dosing period.1
Available in an easy-to-use, low volume dose that facilitates a gentle complete application, Stronghold® Plus is indicated for use in kittens as young as eight weeks.1

The launch of Stronghold® Plus represents the first approval of sarolaner for use in cats, and Zoetis believes that sarolaner is a promising platform for future product lines and lifecycle innovations.
