Zoetis Renews Partnership With BVNA
Zoetis UK Ltd today announced the renewal of the partnership agreement between its Companion Animal business and the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA). It reflects the success of the inaugural year of partnership. Both parties remain committed to continuing work together to champion the role of the veterinary nursing profession plus those working in veterinary care assistance positions, for the advancement of care for small animals.
The BVNA is the largest membership body of veterinary nurses in the UK with over 6,000 members. Its purpose is to represent, support and champion the veterinary nursing profession.
During the past year Zoetis has delivered a range of well-received knowledge-sharing opportunities for BVNA members via a bespoke series of webinars and regional CPD events. In addition, Zoetis colleagues recently attended BVNA Congress for the second year, supporting delegates with educational initiatives across their parasitology, dermatology and pain management portfolios.
Zoetis discovers, develops, manufactures and commercialises a diverse portfolio of animal health medicines and vaccines designed to meet the real-world needs of veterinarians and the companion animal owners they support. The partnership provides the BVNA with the opportunity to work with an animal health company driven by a singular purpose: to nurture our world and humankind by advancing care for animals.
Louise Longstaff, National Veterinary Manager - Companion Animal, at Zoetis, said: “Following a highly successful and enjoyable first year of partnership we are delighted to be able to renew our productive and supportive working relationship with the BVNA. We are proud to continue to support veterinary nurses and veterinary care assistants in their vital roles in practice. Our aim for the coming year is to keep on listening to what BVNA members want, so that we can deliver perfectly tailored knowledge-sharing solutions.”
BVNA President Sarah Holliday commented: “At BVNA we are delighted to continue our collaboration with Zoetis into a second year, for the benefit of our members and the veterinary nursing community. With input from our members, we are looking forward to developing learning opportunities throughout 2026 which represent our members’ needs and promote excellent patient care.”
