The challenge was a 8 mile cross country with a twist; through obstacles, rivers and over tough terrain. The teams tackled an adventure assault course through a wild environment and finished with a grand style hog roast party with hot food and drinks and a traditional Scottish band playing.
Scot Cowan commented,
"We knew it was going to be a tough run at the start, but the strong winds and rain didn’t help matters! Despite the weather it was a great day and the money raised will go towards a great cause."
Everyone who took part put in an excellent effort and the whole BCF family are proud of their efforts.
The miles that the BCF team completed will go towards the BCF Global Challenge total, this is where the BCF family will attempt to run, cycle or swim a total of 25,000 miles – equal to the circumference of the world.
