Boehringer Launches Online MVD Murmur Quiz
Boehringer Ingelheim, manufacturer of Vetmedin, has launched a Meaningful MVD Murmur online quiz which enables vets to test their knowledge and hone their skills to detect correctly when a mitral valve murmur is clinically significant in dogs.
Hosted on the Boehringer Academy website - www.boehringer-academy.co.uk - the three-minute quiz will enable veterinary professionals to listen to 15 murmurs and decide whether each one is clinically significant or not. After they have made a choice, participants will be told the grade of the murmur and if further investigation should be considered to determine if the dog has cardiomegaly. This is important since dogs with MVD and cardiomegaly are more likely to develop heart failure within one to two years1.
This fun and interactive online quiz is the latest cardiology offering from Boehringer’s pioneering Boehringer Academy, an online educational resource that enables veterinary professionals to keep up-to-date on the latest advances in veterinary medicine.
