Leading healthy pet food company Burns Pet Nutrition is launching its Christmas Bowls appeal this year in a bid to help feed pets in need throughout the holiday season.

As part of the appeal, Burns will be partnering with three key pet charities to ensure vulnerable animals won’t go hungry over the festive period. Refuge4Pets, Dogs on the Street and Street Paws will all be taking part in the campaign.

Running from 1st December through to the 12th December, for all customers spending £50 and over, Burns have pledged to donate 2kg of their pet food to help pets in need.

Customers are encouraged to stock up on their favourite variety of Burns Pet Food, and for every £50 spent, Burns will deliver 2kg of award-winning food to the charities Dogs on the Street, Street Paws and Refuge4Pets. 2kg equates to around 13 bowls of food for the average sized dog.

Refuge4Pets provides a pet fostering service across Devon and Cornwall to survivors of domestic abuse so that they can leave with their much-loved pets. Dogs on the Streets supports vulnerable communities of rough sleepers, mental health, poverty, addiction and domestic violence cases with pet dogs. They provide Immediate fostering and free vet care for their dogs, and guidance & referrals to service pathways to support them. And Street Paws supports homeless people and their pets across the UK with the provision of free veterinary care and support services.

Founder of Burns Pet Nutrition, John Burns said “We think every dog deserves a full tummy, which is why we’re donating a 2kg of nutritious and tasty Burns Pet food with every £50 and over spent to help pets in need this Christmas. We’re asking our customers to help us make sure no pet goes hungry this festive period”.
