Dogs and their owners line up ready to start the sponsored walk.
The Animal Care Trust (ACT), registered charity of the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), is looking for dogs and owners to take part in its sponsored dog walk on Sunday, October 11.
Walkers will enjoy an exclusive look at the RVC’s Hawkshead Campus, while helping to raise funds for the rehabilitation services at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals.
Beginning at 10:30am, participants will have the choice of completing either a 1.5 mile or three mile route around the RVC grounds, and all will receive a rosette and goody bag at the finish line.
To register for the event and to obtain the sponsorship pack, visit www.rvc.ac.uk/act/dogwalk, email [email protected] or call 01707 666300. The entrance fee is £5 and each dog must raise a minimum of £5 in sponsorship.More from
