Can equine gastric ulcers be prevented? That’s the question being posed at a one day InnerVision CPD seminar entitled ‘A Practical Approach to Common Equine Problems’.
Open to all equine veterinary surgeons and now in its seventh year, the combined CPD and fun event will also cover infectious respiratory diseases, tendon injuries and ‘to worm or not to worm’, says InnerVision organiser, Merial Animal Health.
Taking place on Wednesday 8th May 2013 at Garlands Leisure in Warwickshire, the afternoon activities include quad biking, off road karting, air pistol & rifle shooting and laser clay pigeon shooting.
Equine manager Dr Emma Batson explains: “We have a top line-up of speakers set to provide high calibre equine CPD at what promises to be an informative as well as entertaining event!
“Now an annual fixture the day is always a sell-out, so for those who plan to attend I would advise early booking,” she adds.
The cost is £25.00 per delegate, refundable on attendance at the meeting, with lunch and refreshments provided.
Speakers include;
Andy Durham BSc, BVSc, Cert EP, DEIM,Dip. ECEIM, MRCVS (RCVS & European specialist in Equine Internal Medicine)
Rachael Conwell BVetMed, CertEMk, MRCVS of Equimed Referrals Ltd
Prof. Roger Smith MA, VetMB, PhD, DEO,Dip. ECVS, MRCVS, RCVS and European Specialist in Equine Surgery (Orthopaedics)
