CCV Ballymena is declared open!
Companion Care Vets is continuing its expansion into Northern Ireland and has opened a brand new £200,000 surgery inside the Pets at Home store in Ballymena.
Declared open on 14th February by Councillor PJ McAvoy the surgery is Companion Care’s second in Northern Ireland. Joint Venture Partner, Vet Mary Davey has lived and worked in Ballymena for many years and the opening of her own surgery is the realization of a dream.
Like all 107 Companion Care Vets surgeries, Ballymena is equipped with latest facilities including digital x-ray facilities, an in-house laboratory and isolation unit, The surgery has also been launched with the new Companion Care Vets brand.
Jane Balmain, Managing Director, Companion Care Vets comments, “Our expansion into Northern Ireland is an exciting milestone for the business and we are pleased to welcome Mary to our team of partners. Our surgery in Lisburn opened in October 2012 and the team has already made a mark for themselves in the local community. Plans are in place to expand further into this area as the year progresses.”
Companion Care Vets Joint Venture model includes both in Pets at Home store surgeries and more traditional standalone practices and works with potential Joint Venture Partners to open surgeries in their desired location – whether that is relocation to a new area, moving ‘back home’ or finding a site that is within commutable distance. Jane continues, “With our offering we are able to meet very specific location criteria for our partners and with 12 new surgeries opening in the first quarter of this year alone our plans for expansion are right on track.”More from
