Dechra Veterinary Products will be running a number of free CPD events on feline hyperthyroidism for vets and vet nurses across the country in June.
Presented by Dechra Veterinary Products veterinary technical services team, the free evening sessions will include a review of the pathophysiology, clinical signs and diagnosis of feline hyperthyroidism, along with treatment options including Felimazole®.
Carol Morgan, product manager at Dechra Veterinary Products says:
“Hyperthyroidism is the most common endocrinopathy in cats and is most prevalent in older cats. While worrying for owners at diagnosis, the condition is treatable, and cats can return to living a normal and healthy life with appropriate treatment.”
The sessions, which count as one hour of CPD, will be taking place on the evenings of:
- June 16 at the Ramada Hotel in Solihull, Birmingham and the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow
- June 17 at the Vets Now offices in Dunfermline
- June 23 at the Botleigh Grange Hotel, Southampton.
Spaces are limited, so Dechra advises interested veterinary professionals to book early. For more information and to secure a place at one of the four sessions call Dechra on 01743 452847.
Those attending the Scottish sessions can also enjoy a curry and a pint.
