Dechra Veterinary Products is celebrating a successful BSAVA NI Conference, where veterinary professionals were eager to hear more about one of the company's key areas of expertise.
With a significant endocrinology portfolio, Dechra Veterinary Products was a principal sponsor of the Veterinary Endocrinology Conference held on May 25 and 26 in County Londonderry.
Alison Casey, Dechra Veterinary Products' Business Development Manager Ireland, said: “It was great to see the event so well attended and we were pleased at the level of interest we received.
“We were able to tell delegates about the support we offer the veterinary profession in the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of endocrine cases, with CPD available at our online learning resource, the Dechra Academy.
“We also provided information on the client support material which is available for practices with Dechra having a particular specialism in the endocrinology sector.”
Delegates were also able to discuss Dechra's endocrinology products products such as Felimazole®, indicated for the treatment of feline hyperthyroidism, and Vetoryl®, for the treatment of Cushing’s syndrome.
“It was a very successful event for us and we're delighted to have supported BSAVA in Northern Ireland for the conference in 2012.”
Delegates heard from expert speakers at the event, covering a range of subjects from the basics of endocrinology to developing delegates' understanding of complex conditions.
