Elanco Animal Health, supplier of Vulketan®, has announced that its recent webinar on wound healing in horses is now available to view on-demand.
Entitled ‘wound healing in horses; sorting simple from serious and first aid’, the one hour online seminar provides veterinary professionals with up-to-date information on how to manage wounds in practice. It is presented by Dr Patrick J Pollock, BVMS CertES (Soft Tissue), FHEA, DipECVS, MRCVS from the Weipers Centre Equine Hospital, University of Glasgow who is also a consultant to the Veterinary Wound Healing Library.
The webinar gives a practical approach to the first aid and management of the variety of equine wounds encountered in veterinary practice. It investigates the twelve factors of delayed wound healing and gives an overview of the variety of treatment options available ensuring the optimum approach to a range of cases. Patrick is a European and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Recognised Specialist in Equine Surgery and will be sharing his experience across a number of practical cases.
