Equitape Product Update

Zoetis Ltd has recently announced that unfortunately Equitape, a praziquantel-only wormer for horses, will be discontinued from their equine product range in October 2018. This is due to the decision of the third-party manufacturer to cease supply of the product. A new praziquantel-only product for horses would require a new registration, involving many years’ lengthy development and approval processes, which make it an unviable option for the UK alone. We will ensure we continue to communicate with suppliers and horse owners through this change and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
