Heathcote Veterinary Centre Merges With Avonvale
Two leading Warwickshire-based veterinary practices have announced they are merging.
Heathcote Veterinary Centre, which is based in Heathcote Road, Whitnash, has joined Avonvale Veterinary Centres, which has now expanded to running seven practices across Warwickshire.
Heathcote is a single-site practice which was established in Leamington in the 1970s and Avonvale, which has its flagship 24-7 animal hospital in Warwick, also has practices in Cubbington, Stratford, Kenilworth, Wellesbourne and Southam.
Aside from the name change, Heathcote clients will not see any change to the high-quality service they receive.
Mark Taylor, clinical director at Avonvale Veterinary Centres, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Heathcote Veterinary Centre and its clients to the Avonvale family.
“We are committed to offering the same high standards of veterinary care Heathcote clients have become accustomed to. Our message to clients is that it’s very much business as usual.”
Vet surgeon John Hutchinson, who has owned Heathcote since 2002, said: “I’m pleased to be able to entrust our practice to Avonvale, which is a trusted name across Warwickshire and has been for many years. I look forward to working with them in the future.”
