Following on from the launch of the IVC Evidensia Farm Vets brand, the group has announced the first face-to-face congress for their farm vets.

Exclusive to IVC Evidensia farm practice staff, the event will be held twice a year, starting in February 2022. It will give the IVC Evidensia farm community the opportunity to gather together to network, build collaborations, and discuss what the future holds for the group.

There will be clinical and non-clinical CPD on offer for farm practice staff from across the country as well as idea-sharing, problem-solving and socialising with peers, helping to strengthen the community.

Group Farm Veterinary Advisor, Paul Horwood said,

“I am excited to be able to gather our vibrant community of farm practice staff together at a face-to-face congress. This inaugural meeting of farm practice staff will bring together the wealth of experience and expertise the group has, allowing for knowledge share, innovation, and support.”

Jim Hopkins, clinical director of Steffan Vets, part of the IVC Evidensia Farm Vets network said,

“I am very excited. It is going to be a great opportunity for the group to get together, collaborate, share and develop best practices for right across the UK. The group has grown so much since we were last able to meet face to face and I am very definitely looking forward to it.”

Stacy Davies, practice principal at Forth Valley Vets, also part of the IVC Evidensia Farm Vets network agreed, saying,

“Our vets are very much looking forward to meeting other farm vets face to face again. They gain so much from the CPD and networking with their peers and, of course, more senior vets. Everyone benefits from these inclusive events. It's another great advantage of being part of IVC Evidenisa Farm Vets.”

“The Farm Vets Spring Congress is an exciting development for IVC Evidensia Farm Vets. Having a meeting where experienced and junior farm vets from across the group can get together in person to learn and network shows a real benefit to being part of the group. The program is a great mix of CPD and updates from the Farm Animal Clinical Board to show our teams where we are and where we are heading.” said Colin Buchan, clinical director for Avondale Veterinary Group.
