Independent Vetcare are delighted to announce that they have secured a new investor. EQT will be taking over as Independent Vetcare’s principal investor in the New Year, alongside the senior vets and managers who will continue to invest in the group.
EQT is a leading Scandinavian investment fund with an excellent track record of investing in thriving companies across the world with a mission to help them develop into great and sustainable businesses. EQT own one of the leading European veterinary groups, Evidensia, so they already have a deep understanding of the veterinary profession and what makes it so unique.
Summit Partners have been Independent Vetcare’s principal investor since July 2014 and the veterinary group has grown exponentially over this time, with nationwide coverage of nearly 300 practices.
