Its Not Too Late To Participate In The Mercury Challenge
It's not too late to participate in Ceva Animal Health's Mercury Challenge, a European initiative to raise awareness of feline hypertension.
The Mercury Challenge is designed to increase veterinary professionals’ confidence in measuring blood pressure and preventfeline hypertension, a frequent and severe condition that is still not routinely checked. It is quick and easy to take part; veterinary professionals are asked to enter information about the feline patient online with the owner’s permission on the Mercury Challenge website - mercurychallenge.ceva.com - the owner’s name, cat’s name, age, systolic blood pressure and time spent measuring blood pressure. Additional information includes: weight, breed, sex and whether the animal has any concurrent diseases, such as chronic kidney disease or hyperthyroidism, or is on any treatments.
Participating practices will be given the chance to win diagnostic tools to help them to diagnose feline hypertension, depending on the number of cats entered.
For information on feline hypertension or the Mercury Challenge, which runs until the end of September, please contact your local Ceva Animal Health account manager or visit mercurychallenge.ceva.com.
