Pets magazine, an exciting new e-magazine devoted to the lifestyles of pet owners, has been launched to over 6000 Twitter users.
The bi-monthly magazine, which fills a gap in the UK market for a magazine devoted to both people and pets, has been published digitally.
An iPad-optimised version is also available at www.petsmag.co.uk for iPad and other tablets, which can also be viewed in Kindle (app / machine), iBooks and other digital readers.
Editor Marie Carter explained: "I wanted to launch a digital magazine with HTML links, so that readers can easily link to the web pages of people and companies featured in the magazine.
"I also believe that digital publishing for magazines has a very bright future. Most printed magazines are already available in digital format, and that figure is growing every year along with the number of people who are choosing to read magazines and other publications online, including on their tablets or mobiles, as well as in paper format.
³The launch issue is packed with features, news articles and two competitions so enter now for your chance to win either six months supply of Misfits dog treats or a Kennel Club branded collar and lead for your pooch.²
She added: "The future for digital publishing looks very bright and I am delighted that Pets Magazine will play a part in that."
The magazine currently has a 25-page pagination and features pet news, a vet column, pet owner lifestyle features and competitions as well as a host of other exciting, fun and distinctive content.
The second edition of Pets Magazine is due out on August 15 (August/September) edition and will be published on alternate months.
