Vet Nurse Online is this year introducing The Vet Nurse Online Volunteering for Animal Welfare Grant and is now inviting application from its members who would like to be considered for a £500 Grant towards volunteering in the assistance of animal welfare worldwide.
Volunteering to help improve animal welfare can be an amazing opportunity to use veterinary nursing skills in a really valuable and rewarding way, and Vet Nurse Online has decided to offer this Grant to help support one VN in doing this.
From spending some time helping at a local charity to travelling to volunteer with animals abroad, any idea will be considered for the Grant and with it Vet Nurse Online hopes to assist in helping the animals that need it most.
For further information, lists of vet nursing volunteer opportunities worldwide, and to request an application form and guidelines for the September 2013 deadline VNs can see www.VetNurseOnline.co.uk.
