Onswitch Support Local Community Projects Through Reverse Advent Calendar

In mid-November Onswitch began a Reverse Advent Calendar, collecting much-needed donations for the local food bank. Rather than spending money on excess packaging and eating chocolate none of us needs, every day each member of the team donates an item of food, pet food, toiletries, gifts, chocolates or clothing into the collection box.
Onswitch will make one delivery to Grantham Foodbank before Christmas, and another afterwards - good deeds shouldn't just be for the festive season after all. In fact Onswitch has now decided to continue this community collaboration throughout 2018 - if we each do a little bit, together we can make a big difference. So for anyone who may be coming to Onswitch HQ, please feel free to bring along a donation! Even better, why not set up a Reverse Advent calendar in your practice waiting area, where clients and colleagues can donate items to benefit the people and pets of your town?
Jane Johnston, Production Manager and project champion commented, "'Collaborative' is one of our five values, and so we wanted to find a practical way to bring this to life in our community. Our daily advent donations are relatively small and easy for us to make, but Grantham Foodbank will turn them into something much bigger. The charity's aim is to equip people with skills and confidence that will help them help themselves in the longer term, in addition to providing practical support at times of real hardship."
