A top Essex vet practice is throwing open its doors for one day only so pet owners can meet the team and view its first-class facilities.
The fun-packed afternoon takes place at Linnaeus-owned Animal Ark Veterinary Centre in Ilford on Saturday, August 19, between 12pm and 3pm, and will see plenty of activities on offer, including practice tours and talks from veterinary nurses.
There will also be a hydrotherapy demonstration using Animal Ark’s state-of-the-art underwater treadmill and discussions to highlight the benefits of Pet Health For Life plans, plus a raffle with some fun prizes and much more.
For younger visitors, there will be interactive activities including a consult room experience and the chance to dress as a vet.
Laila Liakouras, clinical director at Animal Ark, said: “Our open day is a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes at a busy veterinary practice.
“It will be a great free family day out over the summer holidays and we hope to welcome as many members of our community as possible.”
