A ground-breaking resource for the equine enthusiast
Petplan Equine, one of the UK’s leading equine insurance providers, has today launched a new website, www.yourstables.co.uk for equine enthusiasts around the world. With helpful information and engaging tips on horse care plus a visually arresting design, the site was created as a direct response to Petplan Equine’s customer demand for compelling and fresh online content.
The website is designed to capture the imagination of the visitor by taking them on an impressive 3D tour of a working yard. Individuals will have the freedom to ‘roam’ the website and choose the areas that appeal to them, including the The Tack Room, The Stables, and The Horse Clinic. Inside each section, there are downloadable articles and short films on topics such as pre-purchase vetting, handy grooming hints, and back care. The website will be updated regularly enabling riders to get involved in new disciplines, discover events, and increase their knowledge of their horses in general.
www.yourstables.co.uk is supported by many leading industry figures, including world eventing champion and six times Badminton winner Lucinda Green MBE. Petplan Equine sponsor Lucinda’s ‘XC the Safe Way’ clinics which have already allowed hundreds of riders to benefit from her experience and tuition. Now her invaluable advice on cross-country riding will now be available to everyone online, as will her indispensable video guide to buying a horse.
Lucinda Green commented: “I am delighted to be involved with this exciting new project, which is going to revolutionise the way that owners and riders access information about all aspects of horse care and riding. As a rider you never stop learning and Petplan Equine’s new website will provide extremely useful guidance and information to riders of all levels.”
Equine welfare is at the heart of Petplan Equine’s ethos and the new website is an extension of the company’s strap line, ‘Sharing the Care of Your Horse’. Petplan Equine appointed award-winning web agency Pancentric to create the look and feel of the website while employing equine industry experts, from internal Petplan Equine employees to experienced riders to therapists and vets to ensure the website contained credible and engaging content.
Margi Tooth, part of the Petplan Equine team who developed the website, comments: “Riders and horse owners increasingly use the internet to access information on products, events and health issues. Through www.yourstables.co.uk, we are combining all of these aspects into one area. There will be offers on equestrian products, tickets to events and other equestrian services as well as fun and informative videos and games. There will be regular additions and updates ensuring the website is fresh at all times.”
