Virbac is pleased to announce that Tiacil, the popular ophthalmic gentamicin based eye drop solution, is back and available to veterinary practices across the country.
Tiacil ophthalmic preparation is licensed for the treatment of eye infections that include blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis (including post-operative keratitis) and anterior uveitis in dogs, cats and rabbits.
Viscous for prolonged contact, Tiacil ophthalmic solution is a sterile, colourless liquid that is available in 5ml vials. Each 1.0ml contains the broad spectrum1 antimicrobial gentamicin sulphate, which is active against gram-positive and gram- negative bacteria, trometamol and disodium EDTA.
Easy to administer, Tiacil drops come in a ready to use vial that features an atraumatic applicator to allow pet owners to easily apply the drops with minimal tissue injury.
