Lancing College Preparatory School is an independent nursery, pre-preparatory and preparatory School based in Hove for approximately 200 children between the ages of 3 and 13 and the children can’t wait for Marc’s visit. Marc, who is a regular on ITV’s This Morning and BBC Breakfast, and wrote popular children’s book ‘Pets in Need’ about poorly patients in his emergency clinic, will be sharing his knowledge of animal welfare and will also signing copies of his book for Lancing Prep’s animal-loving pupils. He says “As well as many well cared for animals in the UK, there are also many that are suffering from basic neglect. By helping to educate the youngsters in our community it’s hoped we can help our pets and wildlife both now well into the future.” Lancing Prep teacher Simon Chilton says “We are going to be running a book week that week so Marc’s visit will tie-in very well with what will hopefully be a good week for reading and books!” Grove Lodge Vets who have clinics across Sussex including a state-of-the-art 24 hour emergency hospital in Worthing are keen to invest in the local community by educating children about pets and wildlife, as well as well treating the animals awaiting rehoming in our local rescue centres and supporting community events like the recent Worthing Carnival.
