Vet From Vale Vets In Portishead Wins Trip Of A Lifetime To Thailand Courtesy Of Semintra
Vicky Morton, a veterinary surgeon from Vale Vets Hospital in Portishead, has won a trip of a lifetime for two people to Phuket in Thailand for the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) autumn feline conference, courtesy of Semintra.
Vicky was automatically entered into the prize draw after viewing three short webinars on feline chronic kidney disease (CKD) on the Boehringer Academy website – www.boehringer-academy.co.uk. The online seminars, which are available to view on demand, covered ‘The role of IDEXX SDMA in early diagnosis of feline CKD’, ‘The importance of early diagnosis in feline CKD’ and ‘The balanced approach to feline CKD’.
The three-day ISFM congress takes place at Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort from 7-9 November and Vicky will be taking a fellow veterinary surgeon with her on the trip.
“I am absolutely over the moon to have won the prize draw,” comments Vicky Morton. “We are not only looking forward to the extensive scientific programme, but we are also hoping to take some time out to experience both the culture and the water sports available at the resort.”
