VRCC Clinical Director And Head Of Oncology Dr Susan North Appointed Special Lecturer In Oncology At The Nottingham University School Of Veterinary Medicine

VRCC's Clinical Director and Head of Oncology Dr Susan North has just been appointed ‘Special Lecturer in Oncology’ at The Nottingham University School of Veterinary Medicine. Susan is looking forward to lecturing and welcoming senior students at the VRCC Oncology Department. VRCC is the most advanced private Centre in the UK for the treatment of Cancer in Dogs and Cats and is fully equipped to treat the complete range of small animal Cancers. It is complete with specialist Radiation and Radiation Planning facilities, a 6Mv Linear Accelerator, plus Chemotherapy suite and highly experienced Specialist Oncologic Surgeons on-site. VRCC has the only 2 qualified Veterinary Radiation Oncologists in the UK. Dr Susan North has also accepted a position on the Examination Committee for the new specialty of Radiation Oncology in Europe that is working with both ECVIM and ECVDI, continuing her work to develop Veterinary Radiation Oncology to the very highest standards in Europe.
