Zoetis Appoints New Member To Equine Team

Zoetis UK welcomes the appointment of a new member to its equine team. Becky Disney is the new Equine Account Manager for equine veterinary practices in the central and north of the UK. She brings to the team a strong combination of experience in veterinary pharmaceutical and consultative sales.
Becky began her career as a groom at a thoroughbred stud farm, assisting with foaling and preparing yearlings, foals and mares for the sales. She obtained a degree in equine sports science and went on to work in sales for an equine retail wholesaler. She has been working within the veterinary sales industry for the past seven years and has gained extensive experience in the equine and large animal pharmaceutical sectors. She also has a National Diploma in Business Management, her BHS stages 1 and 2 and NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in racehorse care. Becky rides regularly and enjoys competing her own horses in local Riding Club teams.
Becky took on the role of Equine Account Manager in July 2017 and is dedicated to working with equine veterinary practices from coast to coast across the north Midlands and northern England She provides product and business support for the Zoetis pharmaceutical range which includes sedatives, anaesthetics, analgesics, anthelmintics and vaccines.
Zoetis equine Product Manager Penny McCann said: “Becky has already become a valuable member of our team. She brings considerable experience with her knowledge of the equestrian and pharmaceutical sectors and really enhances the service we provide to equine veterinary practices.”
