‘Supervet’ Noel Fitzatrick and Clare Balding were in Bristol last weekend with DogFest.

The DogFest is a festival for dog lovers and their beloved pooches. My Family Vets were in attendance with BorrowMyDoggy and staff from Vale Vets. They were offering free photoshoots of owners and their pets in a mini studio they had set up on their stand.

The weather was warm, perfect for the humans visiting the ultimate summer festival for dogs, but it was a little warm for the pooches so, My Family Vet and BorrowMyDoggy set up a paddling pool and a rehydration station to help them keep cool.

There was loads going on in the Big Top and arenas for dogs and their owners. ‘Supervet’ Noel Fitzpatrick was interviewed by a 9 year old and Clare Balding did a reading from her new book. There were talks and book signings by The Pet Detectives. Kate Spicer and Noel Fitzpatrick as well as demos to watch and take part in.

One of the My Family Vets volunteers managed to take a break from the stand and took part in an obedience masterclass and a flyball session with his daughter and her cockapoo, Luna. He said,

“The festival was great fun and really busy. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the day with their dogs, having fun with some fab activities and exhibitors.”

My Family Pet and Borrow My Doggy can’t wait for next year’s event!
