Heather Goodfellow has been appointed as a business relationship manager at West Midlands Referrals.
Heather's Drive To Make WMR Referral Centre Of Choice
A leading animal hospital in Staffordshire has expanded its business relationship team with an appointment who will be a familiar face to many.
Heather Goodfellow was previously a patient care assistant at Linnaeus-owned West Midlands Referrals (WMR) in Burton-on-Trent before moving into her new role as a business relationship manager.
Heather will develop and maintain relationships with referring vets, ensuring that complex cases can be quickly and smoothly referred to WMR for investigation and treatment.
Heather said: “I’m looking forward to enhancing my communication skills, as well as developing new relationships and supporting our primary care colleagues in providing the best possible patient care.”
Previous to joining WMR, Heather has held office jobs and has also been a presenter at Dudley Zoo.
Heather added: “My aim is to ensure WMR is the referral centre of choice for as many primary care colleagues in the region as possible.”
Fabienne Venables, hospital director at WMR, said: “Heather’s been fantastic at building a close rapport with referring vets, clients and other team members, and she is perfectly suited to use these skills, and more, to further enhance relationships with our referring vets.”
Outside of work, Heather enjoys baking, crochet and sewing, gardening, reading, gaming and puzzles.
WMR provides a wide range of high standard veterinary services delivered by experienced clinicians and supported by state-of-the-art facilities to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment.
