IVC Evidensia Equine Vets Deliver Faster Scan Service Through Industry-first Imaging Team
To help improve the customer experience at IVC Evidensia equine practices, all MRI and CT scan analysis is being brought in-house, with the appointment of two new imaging experts.
From November 2023, imaging experts Maty Looijen and Rhiannon Morgan will take over all scan analysis, vastly speeding up service to vets and clients and replacing any outsourcing of scans to companies external to the group.
IVC Evidensia is the first corporate group to invest in this progressive approach, as part of an ongoing focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness, to enable even better support for colleagues, practices and clients.
Helen Sanderson, Regional Head of Equine for IVC Evidensia, commented on the appointments:
“We’re thrilled to be able to make this pioneering internal change, which will not only benefit our equine vets working in practice but also our loyal clients, as they will enjoy a seamless process when it comes to getting results in a timely fashion.
“I’m so pleased we’ve been able to appoint both Maty and Rhiannon to their new positions and I look forward to working with them in the future as we continue to optimise our processes.”
Supporting equine hospitals and ambulatory vets
Maty and Rhiannon will cover five equine hospitals, that currently all require the reading of MRI and CT scans and have previously outsourced this to an external company.
Their appointment will also support younger ambulatory vets, who will be able to pick up the phone to both imaging specialists whenever they need.
Other territories for the leading veterinary group are already looking at implementing the same in-house process, so there is the possibility of further expansion in the future.
