Vets Win Fortnum & Mason Hamper In NexGard Spectra Competition
Two lucky vets have each won a luxury Fortnum & Mason hamper worth £150 following a competition on Boehringer Ingelheim’s NexGard Spectra stand at the London Vet Show.
Catherine Thomas from Suffolk Exotic Vet Services and Wangford Veterinary Clinic in Wangford in Suffolk and Hilary Shaw from West Mount Vets in Huddersfield won the hampers in a prize draw.
The vets beat off intense competition from 813 other show delegates taking part in the prize draw who all answered five questions correctly on NexGard Spectra. The answers were found by walking around the NexGard Spectra park on Boehringer’s stand at the event. Questions included: ‘how does NexGard Spectra break the flea lifecycle?’ and ‘NexGard Spectra contains afoxolaner. How quickly does afoxolaner kill ticks?’. The answers are: NexGard Spectra breaks the flea lifecycle by killing fleas quickly before they can lay eggs1, and afoxolaner kills ticks within 24 hours2.
Evelyn Murphy, senior brand manager at Boehringer, comments: “The London Vet Show was a great opportunity for us to showcase NexGard Spectra and to engage with veterinary professionals to explain the key benefits of our popular anti-parasitic, and we would like to congratulate Catherine and Hilary for winning the hampers.”
