Cases of canine end-stage ear, aural tumours, and salivary mucocoele are seen regularly in first opinion practice. This course will enable you to start providing in-house surgical management of such cases via our practical surgical teaching principles: maximum cutting time using canine cadavers, expert tuition, and high affordability.
Delegates will receive pre-recorded lectures in advance of the live date, optimising practical time in the wetlab. Topics covered will include:
· Assessment and management of the canine otitis patient
· Local anaesthetics/nerve blocks and analgesia for TECA (lecture and practical)
· TECA-LBO anatomy and surgical procedure (lectures and practical)
· Investigation of submandibular swellings
· Sialoadenectomy (surgical salivary gland removal) anatomy and surgical procedure (lecture and practical)
