A renowned West Yorkshire veterinary referral centre has further boosted its leading service offering to patients with the appointment of a renowned oncologist.
Frances Taylor, a European and RCVS specialist in veterinary oncology, has joined Linnaeus-owned Paragon Veterinary Referrals, in Wakefield.
Frances’ extensive experience first saw her working in both general practice and referral hospitals after she graduated from the University of Bristol in 1998.
After completing an internship, Frances then completed a four-year residency at the University of Cambridge, where she remained to work in veterinary oncology for another year.
In 2011 Frances gained specialist status and has since been working as a veterinary oncologist in referral practices before joining Paragon.
Frances said: “I’m delighted to be joining Paragon Veterinary Referrals, which has an enviable reputation for delivery outstanding patient care.
“I have an interest in all areas of feline and canine oncology and I’m looking forward to working closely with the wider multi-disciplinary teams at Paragon to create a tailored treatment plan for each individual patient.”
Outside of work, Frances enjoys gardening and walking in the Peak District.
