Independent Vetcare Appoints Group Veterinary Nursing Advisor

Independent Vetcare has appointed RVN Liz Cox to the newly created role of Group Veterinary Nursing Advisor.
Liz will work closely with the current team of Group Veterinary Advisors in order to provide support to Registered Veterinary Nurses and drive their utilisation within the group. IVC’s ethos is to provide exceptional clinical and client care, and they recognise how RVNs are instrumental in achieving this, whilst aiming to maximise their opportunities for career progression and job satisfaction.

There are also an ever-increasing number of RVNs in practice with potential future development of the role in the pipeline. As well as considering the RVNs within the group, IVC are pleased that Liz will continue to work closely with external organisations such as the RCVS and BVNA to drive the future of Veterinary Nursing. Liz has a wealth of experience in this area; she is the Senior Vice Chair of the RCVS VN council and sits on multiple working parties, including the VN Futures project.
